Description: Perennials, 1-3 dm; leaves oblanceolate, 2-6 x .4-1 cm, silvery-pubescent, not pustulate; calyx 5-8mm long; corolla white with yellow fornices, 7-10mm wide. Nutlets usually 1 or 2, ovate, 3-4 mm long, densely muricate-tuberculate, the scar narrow or nearly closed. Found on dry sanstone outcrops and open, sandy slopes. 4500-8000 ft.
