  • Description: Prostrate or ascending annuals, (0.5) 1-4 dm; leaflets rhombic-ovate, oblanceolate or obovate, 0.8-1.5 mm long; inflorescence with 10-numerous tiny flowers; calyx 1-1.5 mm long; flowers yellow, 2-3 mm long; legumes reniform-incurved, 2-2.5 X 1.5-2 mm, black at maturity, glabrous to occasionally hairy. Common along roadsides, in fields, forest openings, and disturbed areas, 3900-9000 ft. April-Oct.
