- Description: Perennial deciduous shrubs or trees up to 7.5 meters with reddish to ashy bark. Leaves alternate and petiolate, oval to obovate, 2-10 cm long and 1.5-7 cm wide, with slightly serrately toothed margins, acuminate tips, pubescent or smooth. Flowers are clusters of white elongate racemes 4-20 cm long. Found in coniforus and wooded areas.
