  • Description: Purple milkvetch. Synonyms: ASDA3 Astragalus dasyglottis. ASGO4 Astragalus goniatus. ASHY7 Astragalus hypoglottis. Common in meadows, grasslands, along streams, found from high plains to upper montane meadows and forests, 5000-10500 ft. Similar to Astragalus adsurgens var. robustior except A. agrestis is sparsely pubescent with basifixed hairs and flowers usually in a tightly clustered, spherical head.
